About the Emma Bussell
Emma’s passion for multi-cultural missions was sparked during an immersive week training with Engage Global. Through focused classes and cross-cultural insights, she gained a deeper understanding of the needs and opportunities around the world. That week not only broadened her perspective but also ignited a lasting desire to serve across cultures.
Now, she hopes to continue pursuing that calling through a short-term mission trip to Spain with the Messmers this Summer 2026. With a growing heart for global outreach, Emma is eager to take this next step in faith and action, deepening her commitment to multi-cultural missions and expanding her impact through hands-on service.
Emma’s is currently in Nursing School with the long-term goal of serving in missional service, whether that be medical missions or a different path God has for her. She desires to serve with the Messmers this summer so that she can learn more about church planting and long-term missions. Spiritually, Emma aspires to share the gospel in a language that is not her own and experience and learn how believers gather and worship as a church in a culture different from her own.
