In 2019, a severe drought hit the southern province of Zambia and resulted in extreme hunger and hardships in various parts of the country. Many people in the region came close to dying of hunger. As a result, local pastors and missionaries established Luwingu Farm to provide a sustainable alternative to temporary food relief. Startup cost: $58,500
