About Jada Unruh
Inspired by her aunt’s missionary trip to India, Jada knew from a young age that she wanted to serve God. Making this a part of her career, she started work as a day camp counselor and later expanded into senior care in nursing homes. She also joined her local volunteer fire department as a junior firefighter. In her early teen years, she served as a Sunday School assistant in her church, which allowed her to share the joys and miracles of our Lord Jesus with the next generation. Her adventurous spirit has made her eager to explore and go wherever God may lead me!
Her favorite verse, Jeremiah 29:11, was the first one she ever memorized from a piece of wall art hanging in her Mimi’s home. «For I know the plans I have for you,» declares the LORD, «plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.»
Jada is excited to join the Ecuador team for the summer of 2025 as part of Liebenzell USA Journey Summer internship program! As part of the program, she will serve alongside our Liebenzell missionaries while being exposed to both city and more remote missions work as she travels in the majestic Andes mountains of Ecuador to help with church planting and outreach activities including working with children’s VBS programs. Please pray for her as she prepares to serve and as she comes alongside our team in Ecuador to help, serve, and share Christ.
