Come see for yourself.

Taste and See is a shortened version of our mission trips — a one-week excursion, typically led by Rev. Matthews, open to anyone willing to go. It’s built for people who can’t give a year, or even a month, but can give a week.

You’ll travel alongside our missionaries on the ground, taking part in the same work they do year-round: sharing the Gospel, distributing medicine, and delivering humanitarian aid to communities that need it. It’s real ministry on a shorter timeline, not a scaled-down version of it.

If it only took God one week to create everything, then anyone can give everything they’ve got to make a difference in one week.

— the whole reason Taste and See exists

Four teams, four countries, one year.

Each trip partners with missionaries already at work in that region. Dates below are for 2027 — the ones marked tentative will be confirmed as departure gets closer.

What you'll actually do

Once you land

You’ll work directly with our missionary partners on whatever the local ministry needs that week — that might mean handing out medicine at a clinic, helping run a community outreach, or simply being present with people who rarely get a visitor from outside. The goal isn’t to observe missionary life from a distance; it’s to do the work.

How the trip is funded

Before you go

Participants raise their own way to cover the trip. Most people start with their home church, then reach out to family and friends who’d like to have a stake in the work. It’s common to fund a week like this the same way our missionaries fund a lifetime of it — one supporter at a time.

One week is all it takes to start.

Trips are typically led by Rev. Matthews and open to anyone — no missionary experience required, just a willingness to go and do the work.

Reach out to the Liebenzell USA office to ask about the next available team and how to get started raising support.
