About the Tanya Shoudy
Prior to becoming the Communications Supervisor at Long Valley, NJ-based Liebenzell USA Christian Retreats and Global Missions Nonprofit Organization, Tanya Shoudy worked as a professional communications and media consultant, and public relations concierge.
Publicity services include, but not limited to, website and social media management, website creation, social media content creation, and press and media exposure through social media, and press releases.
A winner of several New Jersey Press Association and New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists awards, Tanya has an extensive background in journalism. Her career in writing, photography, editing, editorial layout, research, investigation, and Associated Press Style grammatical composition was cultivated as a reporter for The Star-Ledger newspaper and as Religion Editor and News Reporter at The Montclair Times newspaper.
A certified Death Doula from the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine, Tanya provides elder and end-of-life companion care to others as a deaconess of Hillside LB Church where she is a member, and as a deaconess of the Phoebe’s Faithful Deaconess Ministry of Liebenzell USA, of which she is founder and Chair. In giving back to the community, Tanya also runs pro-bono New Jersey Death Doula Services as an End-of-Life Specialist.
Tanya holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from William Paterson University, and an Associates Degree in Journalism from Sussex County Community College. She was raised in Los Angeles, California, where she co-founded a non-profit youth mediation organization and worked in local politics.
Her devotion to God has been lifelong, but becoming a Born-Again Christian nearly 10 years ago deepened her walk with the Lord, and she prioritizes and instills her faith in her two children.
Tanya serves as an associate missionary of Liebenzell USA. She is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the globe, and will visit Liebenzell USA missionaries on site in their countries of service to encourage them, help tell their stories in writing and video, and communicate those stories to their ministry partners for the glory of God.
