A word from Sharon Diehl

I was fortunate to go on a spiritual retreat as a young person. It was refreshing to have time to learn and grow in my faith, meet other like-minded believers, and have fun. As the Director of Retreat Ministries, I am thankful to be able to pay it forward to others. Thousands of people come to Liebenzell Retreat Ministries on Schooley’s Mountain each year to strengthen their faith, get baptized, or come to know Jesus Christ as their savior.

We have taken many steps to improve our campus, such as installing A/C units in all our buildings and adding a low ropes course. Our guests consistently give us high service scores, and we have a fantastic service team. I hear many testimonies of how God has met people here and impacted their lives!

Despite experiencing double-digit revenue growth this year compared to last year, we are not immune to the economic challenges that affect us all. We are seeking to find a way to close the gap between our revenue and expenses for this year.

To raise greater awareness of our retreat and conference center, we are holding a golf tournament on Monday, September 16th, at the Flanders Valley Golf Course as a fundraiser. Please consider joining us or sponsoring the event.
