Founded in 1899, Liebenzell Mission began as a German mission agency, to support the gospel work that Hudson Taylor began in Asia through China Inland Mission. Initially focused on outreach to islands in the Asian Pacific, Liebenzell Mission continued to expand its reach across the 20th century, with Liebenzell USA being founded in 1941. Today Liebenzell USA supports 61 missionaries across 13 different mission fields around the world. Our goal remains the same as it was then: to reach the least, the last and the lost by mobilizing missionaries and their supporters to “go and make disciples of all nations.”
Liebenzell USA has been living out the Great Commission for 85 years.

Liebenzell USA is a Bible based, Christ centered, nonprofit organization, dedicated not only to serving guests at our retreat center, and spreading the Gospel through our missionaries all over the world, but also coming alongside our neighbors, meaning anyone and everyone we come into contact with, and sharing the joy of Jesus Christ. We believe that a relationship with God can lead to true repentance, and belief in the forgiveness of sins through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ means that you have been saved.
We believe that the essential elements of being Born Again include:
Conviction of sin upon hearing the word of God.
Repentance and trust in Christ alone and his sacrifice for sin on the cross of Calvary.
Reception of the Holy Spirit by faith.
Spiritual fruit becoming evident in the life of the believer as proof of repentance.
