About Awa Old Testament Translation Project
Although we are blessed to have the Awa New Testament translated and published as we disciple believers among the Awa people in Ecuador, we also desire to make the Old Testament available to them. Donations for this project will help cover expenses incurred in translating the Old Testament into the Awa language. We will use funds for the following foreseen expenses:
- Paying wages to native language speakers working in the translation process.
- Materials and equipment as we work from draft versions to checked versions and finally publishable versions of the Old Testament Scriptures.
- To cover publishing various books of the Old Testament as they are completed.
This is a huge initiative for our team as we move ahead, and we would also covet your prayers. Pray that the Holy Spirit would aid us in our endeavor to communicate the precious word in the heart language of our Awa brothers and sisters.
