Rainer & Katharina Kroeger
Rainer and Kathy are from Germany. They got to know each other in Canada, where Rainer was pastor for eight years. Kathy came to Canada in order to learn English in preparation for becoming a missionary nurse in Bangladesh. They then got married in the year 2000.
Since 2006, they have been serving in Ecuador in a completely unreached valley of the northern Andes. The population of the fifteen towns is Afro-Ecuadorian. They hold children and youth meetings, small groups, evangelistic programs and church services. Lately, their focus has been on a town where even the police does not enter when trouble arises. Another ministry area that the Kroegers also serve in is construction of churches and retreat centers. Rainer, as a team leader, is responsible for the about twenty full-time workers of the mission.
