About the Pross’s
Sebastian and Katharina Pross have been in Papua New Guinea (PNG), also known as the ‘Land of the Unexpected,’ since 2016. For the first six years, they led a program called “Empowerment of Children and Youth and Community Transformation” in the slums of Port Moresby, the capital city of PNG.
Sebastian has been leading Liebenzell Mission PNG and its team of missionaries since 2020. They also oversee partnership programs with the two church associations established through the mission’s work. They advise and support the associations, church leaders, and the Christians who make up their congregations, teach in Bible Schools, and more.
Sebastian is an ordained pastor and certified social worker. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Leadership. Katharina’s background is in theology, social work, and intercultural studies.
They have three children: Nila (born in 2018), Jona (born in 2020), and Ella (born in 2020). Thank you for continuing to pray for the work in Papua New Guinea.
